The WATERSPRING parchment jewellery line forms a separate collection within the HAIKU collection. Inspiring Japanese haiku verses follow the paths of springs starting with the falling rain drops. The Danube, as the biggest river of both my native country and of the whole of Europe, to me symbolises the long flowing path of from the source to the estuary, where pebbles are rolled by the water and shaped over a long-long time. The parchment parts of the WATERSPRING collection were applied onto flat bouncy pebbles, thus the Danube is indirectly present in each piece. In 2018, the jewellery line was successfully exhibited at the SIERAAD Art Jewellery Fair in Amsterdam.
