To me, jewellery design is about joy. About the untiring excitement of working with materials, shapes and surfaces, and also about the joy the given piece will bring to the wearer.

It is an interactive process, as I am inspired by the moods, sounds and poems that I encounter, as well as the raw materials never before used by goldsmiths. The finished objects first make a visual impression, , and then gradually we can experience their weight, sounds, and silky touch. They release feelings which can make us feel better and become more confident. They are an instrument to manifest our strengthening identity.

My jewels form series. The silver elements are made by wax casting and traditional handmade goldsmith techniques, but the construction of the objects does not follow the traditional methods. The visible assembly nodes, and the mobile elements offer a playful experience. I often use techniques borrowed from furniture and textile makers to fix parts of an old carpet, a piece of exotic wood, an antique fragment, or my favourite material, the parchment.

The pieces are unique or available in limited editions, and possible to order for individual size. I am also happy to design bespoke jewellery for personal orders. All the jewels were made from sterling silver using lost wax casting.
